Do my documents stay on my workstation?
Yes, entirely. Processing is 100% local: your documents never leave your workstation. No cloud, no account, nothing sent. This matters for sensitive and confidential files.
Which Windows versions are supported?
Windows 7 SP1, 8.1, 10 and 11, in 64-bit. YMH STAMP is a Windows desktop application. There is no macOS, mobile or web version.
Do I need an Internet connection to use it?
No. The application works offline day to day: the stamp is applied locally, with nothing sent and no account. A connection is only needed to download the installer and activate your license.
How many workstations does a license cover, and is it perpetual?
One license covers one workstation, and it is perpetual: a one-time payment, with no subscription and no renewal. The Solo, Cabinet and Cabinet+ editions let you equip one or several workstations. The details are in our pricing list.
Are updates included?
Your license is acquired with no time limit and never expires. Future changes to Windows may require a software update: this is what the optional, annual Updates & Support plan covers. Without the plan, you keep your version and your license.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. We prepare a trial key suited to your practice, for a defined period, with no card and no commitment. You test on your own files before deciding.
Which document formats are accepted?
PDF, images, as well as DOCX, XLSX and PPTX office files, converted to PDF before stamping. The stamp is placed in the margin, in the right spot on each page, without ever covering the text, the tables or the signatures. Outputs are PNG, JPG and PDF.
Is the application multilingual?
Yes. The interface is available in French, English, Spanish and Arabic with a mirrored, right-to-left layout. You switch languages at any time, without reinstalling.
Does the stamp have legal value?
No. YMH STAMP applies a visual stamp: it is neither a signature nor an electronic stamp with evidentiary value, a domain reserved for accredited trust service providers. You keep the choice of the certified tool when the law requires it.
Windows shows a warning during installation, isn't the installer signed?
This is normal and harmless. Windows shows this warning for any software whose publisher has not yet established its reputation. Always download the installer from ymhstamp.com and follow our step-by-step installation guide.
